Kate Ashworth

Kate is an experienced energy sector leader, having spent her career to date working across many different industries including the design and development of pioneering renewable energy generation, energy system consultancy and most recently in the public sector as Energy Infrastructure Lead at Energy Capital, part of the West Midlands Combined Authority. She is a chartered mechanical engineer and appreciates the technical complexity of achieving net zero and also recognises the need to ensure that it is a just transition.
