Just days away from the next round of local government reorganisation announcements, we will be looking at some of the past examples of LGR alongside advice for the future.

As special adviser to the then secretary of state for communities Sajid Javid Nick King saw through the reorganisation of Dorset and Somerset Councils in central government and can provide a government insiders’ perspective.
