Kurt Frary

Kurt Frary is the Head of IT / CTO at Norfolk County Council and also Vice President of Socitm. Kurt has over 34 years’ experience working in ICT for both public and the private sector and his passion for digital innovation, change and technology is compelling.  Kurt is responsible for the operational ICT service for over 8,500 staff at Norfolk County Council and for Norfolk Fire & Rescue service.

 He is currently leading Norfolk’s approach to Artificial Intelligence and leads Norfolk's AI Governance board as well as the delivery of the ground breaking innovation network which is the largest free to use public sector IoT Network in the UK.

He is passionate about collaborating and sharing innovation across the public sector.
