Baroness Louise Casey of Blackstock
Chair, Independent Commission on Social CareBaroness Casey of Blackstock DBE CB is an independent adviser on social welfare, Chair of the Institute of Global Homelessness, a crossbench peer in the House of Lords and the Government Lead Non-Executive Director.
She has worked for six Prime Ministers on issues relating to social welfare including homelessness, anti-social behaviour, troubled families, child sexual exploitation and social integration.
Baroness Casey received the Companion of the Order of Bath (CB) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list 2008 and Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2016 for services to families and vulnerable people. She was appointed as a crossbench peer in the House of Lords in 2020, a position she took up in September 2021. She is a trustee of the King Charles III Charitable Fund and an ambassador for the Trussell Trust.

The future of Social Care Reform
The social care crisis continues to dog public services and local government's financial stability. Baroness Casey has been asked by the Prime Minister to come up with recommendations for reform. She joins a the Future Forum to give a candid overview of her progress and hear the views of the sector.
