2020 Draft Programme
With his overwhelming Commons majority bolstered by former Labour heartland areas in the Midlands and the North Prime Minister Boris Johnson is now in a position to mould his new administration in his own light. Will there be a return to a more one-nation Conservatism? More devolution is expected to be high on the agenda as is housing, education, infrastructure investment and social care reform while a Budget is planned for March 11. In our popular invite-only 24-hour annual event for local authority chief executives top speakers will give their views on the direction of travel for the new administration and its implications for local government.
The MJ Future Forum takes place at the country house hotel, Hanbury Manor, within easy road and rail links.
